A sofa as a sculptural entity, a ghostly image of someone potentially seated, maybe there, maybe not there, a form of furnishing music or building a mood, a mental space, a poem, a text that is constructed late at night, with shadows and lights crossing the windows, a volume in a domestic space, a presence with weight; the mathematical problem of how to move it in a narrow space, the question of housing and clutter, a sculpture but also a block of foam in the mind.
